Protecting Your Peace of Mind

I came home for a lunch break a few weeks ago and noticed that my diamond necklace that was given to me for a Christmas gift was no longer on the bathroom sink where I'd left it the evening before. I've always left my jewelry in the same location for that reason I knew something wasn’t right.

I after searching franticly for many hours with out luck, I realized that there was clearly some other items of jewelry missing. The panic really set in once i realized that the lock on my back door was tampered with. I became horrified by the indisputable fact that someone was in my home that morning. I called the local police, who came out and made a report. Unfortunately I felt no safer then I had before they came. They explained that there had been multiple break-ins and home invasions in our community over the past several months. They didn’t seem to have any leads or evidence pointing them toward the culprits.

After many sleepless nights worrying whether these individuals or person could revisit my home again I made the decision it was time to take my safety and peace of mind into my own hands. I spoke a number of of my neighbors and friends in regards to what had happened and found that more than a few of them had recently installed some kind of hidden camera devices in their own personal homes.

I spent a lot of time researching home security camera’s and alarm systems, I even had a well recognized alarm company come out and offer me a quote on the amount it would cost me to have them monitor my home. Unfortunately that it was more then outside of my budget. I had been feeling pretty defeated and out of options when a friend of mine sent me a connection to an online site where she had recently purchased a hidden camera for both her front and rear doors.

It didn’t take very long for me to find everything that I wanted for my own home. I purchased a 4 Channel Wired USB DVR Surveillance System. It absolutely was simple to install and connected to my home computer. I mounted one at the front door, another pointed at the back door, one in the overall living space of my home and I even put one in my bedroom. I also bought a separate hidden vanity mirror for my bathroom!

Luckily I haven’t had any more break-ins ever since the last one, however i do sleep so much better now that I know I’m doing whatever i can in order to safeguard myself and my house. I really i would like to share my story and say thank you to my good friend that sent me that link as well as the folks at www.lethalsystems.com who helped me find the peace of mind I had been missing. Many thanks.
